Day of Service - Painting of Cafeteria

On Monday January 16, 2012, Ms. Crystal Dunn and many 4th and 5th grade TFES Service Corps students, in honor of Martin Luther King’s Day, volunteered their time and efforts as a day of service to repaint of our school’s cafeteria. The end result is nothing less than a phenomenal work of collaborative art!

The new cafeteria decor is filled with the TFES mascot (the cheetah), and hundreds of little cheetah prints (painted by the students) and cheetah spots! Art sure to put school spirit into every child at TFES. As all the students filed in for lunch today, excited ohhs, ahhs and wows, could be heard echoing through the building.
