We are excited for the new school year. This year we are using a new platform for the PTO and Parents called RunPTO.com. This will serve as our hub for organizing events, volunteers, news, our school store, and the Student Directory. We ask that all parents create an account online. Membership is just $5 per parent for the year and includes access to the directory!
Here are detailed instructions for signing up for an account:

Add additional members (other parents/guardians in your household only – do not add students). Each additional member can create their own login and will be charged $5.

Select which committees you would be interested in volunteering for. While we have listed all of our regular events for the year, please know that these may change based on COVID-19 limitations. We appreciate your flexibility! Please sign up especially if you would like to be on the planning committee or be a committee chair! For more information about what each committee does, please see the list at the bottom of this newsletter.

Pretzels – We are excited to be able to bring back mini whole wheat soft pretzels this year! In order to provide the students with their favorite snack safely, we have arranged for the pretzels to be individually wrapped from the vendor. This does have an increased cost, so this year the price is $1 per mini pretzel. The cost for one mini pretzel per child for the year is $18. Pretzel Days will be every other Wednesday beginning 9/29/21. For ingredient information click here. The deadline for placing an order for the year is 9/22/21. You can order more than one mini pretzel per child. If you have more than one child you will enter the TOTAL number of pretzels for your family. Pretzels cannot be purchased at a later date – these are pre-order only for the entire year.

Cheetahs Care donation – please donate to this special fund created for students in need and their families. Donations directly support school supplies, holiday meals, holiday wish lists, field trips, and more for TFES families who are in need of assistance. For more information, contact our school counselor, Mrs. Costanzo.

Please consider adding a donation to the TFES PTO. Donations submitted in this box will directly support our PTO fundraising efforts.
Payment type: Select the following payment type:
- Online Payment Now: We do not have online payment capabilities at this time.
- Cash: If you select cash, please send your amount due into the front office in an envelope with your name, your child’s name, and their class, marked “Attn: PTO”.
- Check: If you select check, please send your amount due into the front office in an envelope with your name, your child’s name, and their class, marked “Attn: PTO”.
- Other: If you select “other” please Venmo your payment to @TFES-PTO. Please write “opening day order” in the notes section along with your name, your child’s name, and their class.
Once you have verified everything is correct, click the Signup button at the bottom. Don’t forget to submit payment via cash, check, or Venmo!
To Access runPTO.com:
Once you have paid, go to www.runpto.com Click login in the top right-hand corner. At the login screen, click New User Registration. On the following screen enter:
Org ID: thomasfitz
Email: the email address you used in the Membership Signup.
You will then get an email with a link to create your username and password. The deadline to submit all payments will be Sept 22nd.
